Daniel Abou-zeid serves as the pastor of Surfcoast Chapel, bringing a passion for Biblical teaching and helping people grow in their faith. Though he and his family now reside in Hervey Bay, Queensland, he remains actively involved in the life of the church, commuting to Torquay approximately every five weeks to preach and connect with the church family in person.

With a strong commitment to preaching through books of the Bible, Daniel desires to help people discover the depth and relevance of God’s Word in their daily lives. His ministry passion extends beyond the pulpit, as he also co-hosts The Common Life Podcast with his wife, Michelle, addressing practical and spiritual topics to help people thrive.

Outside of ministry, Daniel enjoys exploring natural health solutions, BBQ, and spending time with his family. Even when not physically present in Torquay, he continues to lead and support the church remotely, ensuring that the vision and mission of Surfcoast Chapel remain strong.

Looking ahead, Daniel is praying and dreaming about Surfcoast Chapel developing a meaningful connection with a like-minded church in Hervey Bay—one that shares the same values and fosters a mutually beneficial partnership for kingdom growth.
